New Clinical Trial Announced as We Look Ahead to 2026
As we look ahead to 2026, we are pleased to kick off the year with the launch of a new clinical study focused on treating coronary calcified lesions in patients with coronary artery disease. This study marks an important step in our continued efforts to advance clinical research through innovation, collaboration and strong partnerships across Europe.
ShockFast IVL Trial to Evaluate Innovative IVL Technology
Through the ShockFast IVL trial, we will evaluate intravascular lithotripsy (IVL) using the innovative ShockFast IVL device, compared with the established ShockWave IVL technology. The trial will be conducted across multiple European countries, with first patient inclusion expected in the near future.
With this study, we aim to contribute to the development of effective treatment strategies and to support progress in improving cardiovascular outcomes for patients with complex coronary disease.
Collaboration at the Heart of Clinical Progress
We would like to thank our sponsor, principal investigators and participating sites for their trust and collaboration. Their expertise and commitment are essential to the successful execution of this study, and we look forward to sharing updates as the trial progresses.
A Year of Connection and Collaboration in 2026
Beyond this clinical trial, 2026 will be a year focused on connection and collaboration. We are excited to continue engaging with peers, partners and innovators in clinical research and cardiovascular health across Europe, strengthening relationships and exchanging insights throughout the year.
